Set Up Church Center in the Account Settings

To allow congregants to find your church on the Church Center app, you need to set up your campuses, enable the app, and then choose the products you'd like to make available for your congregation on Church Center.

1. Enable Church Center

Enable Church Center from the Church Center tab.

  1. Check to enable the Church Center App and Web.


    If you're unable to check the box next the Church Center App, go to the Church Campuses tab and add a campus.

  2. Use the default URL that was generated for you during the setup process or enter your own.

  3. Share the links to the buttons for people to use the Church Center app on their corresponding device. If you see an error, add a campus for your church. A campus is required for using the Church Center app.

2. Set Up Church Center Navigation

Drag and drop feature icons to where you want them to be in the Church Center navigation.

  1. Features in this section will be available from the Church Center navigation.

  2. Features in this section will not show up in the navigation, but you can link to them from other pages on your church website.

  3. Congregants don't have access to features in this section. You can click Manage subscriptions to add products that you're not yet subscribed to.


If you're subscribed to Publishing, you have to add Giving to the Navigation to make it publicly accessible.

Access Church Center

Church Center is a web page and a mobile app.

Although the experience of Church Center is similar on the web and app, your congregants will access the web and app in different ways.

Church Center web is hosted on your church's unique Church Center URL, which you can link or embed on your church's main website.

To get a custom version of this video with your church's name and logo, ask our Support Team by clicking the ? in the top right of any Planning Center product page.

Log in to Church Center

When you enter your mobile number or email on the login screen, you will be sent a verification code, which will expire after two hours and can only be used to log in once.

Once you log in to the Church Center web, you will stay logged in for fourteen days from your last activity.

Access Your Profile

In your profile, you can update your contact information by selecting My profile & settings, then selecting Contact & profile information.


My Schedule

When you tap your icon in the top left, you'll see Your Schedule, which gives you all the information you need about upcoming events relevant to you. 

  • Events found in My Schedule include:

  • Services plans you've been scheduled for.

  • Events from your groups.

  • Events you've bookmarked on the Calendar page.

  • Signup events you've personally registered for as an attendee.

  • Your Groups

  • Registration history

  • Donation history

  • Recurring donations

  • Giving Statements

  • Other organizations you've linked to for switching


The My Schedule page does not include events that other household members are registered for or registrations that you are the registration contact for. You can find those on the My Registrations page in your profile.

Manage Notifications

From your profile, select  Notifications.

To view notifications, tap the bell next to your profile picture.

Donate to Your Church


You can see your donation history, edit recurring donations, and see your giving statement from My Schedule. Scroll to the bottom past your scheduling items to see these options: 


Edit Recurring Donations

On the mobile app, you can select a recurring donation to edit it.

The amount and fund for the recurring donation can be updated from the app, but not from the web. To edit the amount and fund from the web, you'll need to delete the recurring donation and initiate a new donation with the updated information.

Donation History and Statements

From the Donation History tab, you can view your full donor history at any time.

You have the option to download a CSV of each year's giving history from Church Center web.

From the Statements tab, you can access your previous tax statements.



Tax statements will only be available if they've been generated by your church's administrator.

Manage Payment Methods

Go to your profile to manage your payment methods. 


If you remove a payment method that was used for a recurring donation, the next recurring donation will fail unless you update your recurring donation with a different saved payment method.


Canadian Debit/Credit Cards: While all major credit cards are supported for Canadian organizations, only a limited number of debit cards will work. Visa Debit is supported, but Interac ATM cards or any card without a 3 or 4 digit CVC code are not.

Donation Receipt Preferences

By default, each time you donate (online or in-person), you'll receive an emailed receipt. If you're an online donor, you will likely receive tax statements to your email address as well.

If you'd like to disable donation receipts or adjust the email address where you receive receipts and statements, you can choose from the options in the Notification Preferences tab.

If you want to receive donation receipts at an email address that isn't listed, add it to your profile.

View Pledge Progress

From the Pledges tab, you can view pledges that you and your joint donor have committed to and see how much you've donated so far. You can also see the overall progress that's been made towards the pledge campaign's goal amount.


Manage Text2Give

If you've set up Text2Give for your church and need to change the payment method used, you can do so from the Text2Give tab.



To change the church your Text2Give donations go to, text "STOP" to 84321 to disconnect the current church. Then, text a donation amount (ex: "20") to 84321 and follow the prompts to set it back up and select a new church.
