How to Use Church Center

Log in to Church Center

After you enter your mobile number or email on the login screen, you will receive a verification code, which will expire after two hours and can only be used to log in once.

Once you log in to Church Center, you will stay logged in for fourteen days from your last activity.

My Church Center

You can view your profile by selecting your profile icon in the top left or selecting the Me tab in the navigation. In your profile, you'll see My schedule, Activity & involvement, and My organizations.


My Schedule

The My schedule section shows all of your upcoming events, including those you have been scheduled for in the Services app, bookmarked from the Calendar app, or coordinated with Groups. You can select Actions to set blockout dates or contact your team leader in Services.


Activity & Involvement

This section is where you'll see your Groups, Registration history, and My giving.


My Organizations

The My Organizations section shows the churches you've connected with your account. Select an organization's name to change which church you're viewing in Church Center or select + Add to add new organizations.


Update Your Profile and Preferences

From My Church Center, select My profile & settings to view your information, household, and preferences.  


You can update these settings to personalize your profile and make your experience fit your needs.


In addition to updating contact information for you and your household, you can also manage various preferences, including changing the app's appearance and how you receive notifications.

Contact and Profile Information

In this section, you can update your contact information (such as email address, phone number, and mailing address), personal information (birthday, gender, grade, school name, marital status, anniversary date, primary campus, and medical notes), and your profile picture.

Household Information

You can view and update certain contact information for your household members.


You can not add or remove household members, names, or birthdates. An Administrator must make those changes because those changes can affect many administration processes.

Manage Your Giving Information

You can see your donation history, edit recurring donations, and see your giving statement from My Giving in the Activity & involvement section of My Church Center.



If you'd like to receive a receipt when you give, you can enable receipts in the notification preferences.

The My Giving page provides the following options:


1. Donation History

From the Donation History tab, you can view your full donor history at any time.

You can download a CSV of each year's giving history from Church Center web.

2. Edit Recurring Donations

On the mobile app, you can select a recurring donation to edit it.

The amount and fund for the recurring donation can be updated from the app, but not from the web. To edit the amount and fund from the web, you'll need to delete the recurring donation and initiate a new donation with the updated information.

3. Manage Payment Methods

Click an existing payment method to delete it. Add a new payment method by choosing the one you'd like and following the instructions.


If you remove a payment method that was used for a recurring donation, the next recurring donation will fail unless you update your recurring donation with a different saved payment method.


Canadian Debit/Credit Cards: While all major credit cards are supported for Canadian organizations, only a limited number of debit cards will work. Visa Debit is supported, but Interac ATM cards or any card without a 3 or 4 digit CVC code are not.

4. Giving Statements

From the Statements tab, you can access your previous tax statements.



Tax statements will only be available if they've been generated by your church's administrator.

Register for an Event

You can see any upcoming events that might require registration.

Check out this clip from Planning Center University.

Filter by campus or category to narrow your search for a specific event.


To register for an event, provide all requested information. If the event you are registering for requires payment, enter your payment information and complete the registration.

You will receive a confirmation email to the email you provided.

If you'd like to view all signups you have registered for, head to My Registrations from My Church Center.


If any of your registrations need more information, like a balance due or an attendee missing a form, you'll see a Needs attention button on the registration. You can also use the Needs attention button to delete your registration.
