Important

Administrators can view and change settings. Bookkeepers can only view settings.

From the Manage page, go to the Settings tab.

The settings page will look different, depending on whether you're based in the United States or in Canada. Some features, like cover the fee and including the treasurer's signature on statements, are not available in both countries.

US Settings

  1. If you'd like to disable donations using credit cards, uncheck this option. ACH and Debit Cards cannot be disabled.

  2. Enabling this option will put a small checkbox on the donation form. It will ask your donors if they'd like to increase the amount of their donations to cover Stripe's processing fee. Learn more in this article on Covering the Fee.

  3. Enable Apple Pay on the Church Center donation form.

  4. By default, Giving will use the Church Email you've defined in your Account Settings. If you want to use a different email for Giving-specific correspondence, enable this option. The email address you enter will be visible on your donation form. It's also set as the "reply-to" email address for all automated emails issued by Giving.

  5. This tax disclaimer is required by the IRS and is included on all donation receipts and in the footer of any donor statements you issue.

  6. If you use a numbered-envelope system, where donors are assigned numbers and issued numbered envelopes, enable this type of system by checking the box. Learn more in this article on Donor Numbers.

  7. Enable Text2Give by checking this box.

  6. The CRA requires the treasurer's signature on end-of-year tax receipts (called Statements throughout the Giving interface). If you get a new treasurer at some point, replace this signature file and description.
