Statement season is here and we’re excited to introduce rich text for cover letters! Statements are a key touchpoint with your donors, providing a meaningful opportunity to highlight the impact of their ongoing support. With a little formatting, you can create a polished and compelling message.
Here’s what’s new:
- Rich Text Formatting: Bold and italicize your message, adjust font sizes, and organize content with bulleted or numbered lists.
- Clickable Links in Emails: If you want to share a video of recent highlights or reference an impact report on your website, you can link directly to it.
We’ve also made a few subtle improvements to print statements based on your feedback:
- Refined Line Spacing: Improved spacing for a cleaner, less cramped appearance, enhancing readability without increasing the page count.
- Optimized Logo Placement: For #10 windowed envelopes, right-aligned logos are now positioned in the top-right corner instead of below the addresses. This saves space and improves the layout for this configuration.
If you prefer to continue using your own letterhead, you can now exclude the cover letter from both emailed and printed statements with a simple setting adjustment.
If you liked things just the way they were, we’ve got you covered….
- The default font size remains the same as before—now labeled as “medium” for email or “small” for print.
- Font size and spacing haven’t been changed for addresses or statement content (e.g., donation lists).
- Logo placement for centered and left-aligned positions has not been changed.
Happy writing!
