Change a Donor's Email Preferences

A donor can receive a receipt in their email when they donate. They can choose which email to send it to, and how often to receive receipts. Administrators can update a donor's email preferences from their profile.


Donors can change their email preferences from their profile in Church Center.

Go to the Communication tab to manage the donor's email preferences.

  1. If the donor needs to use a different or additional email address, edit their profile from the Actions menu.

  2. If the donor has multiple email addresses, choose which email address receives donation receipts, emailed statements, and donation/profile notifications.


    If a donor's preferred email address is deleted, the donor receives an email notifying them.

  3. Choose whether or not the donor receives donation receipts for the donations enabled on the payment sources page.
