Enhancements and Fixes
Donation History Not Showing Cash and Checks - We recently saw an issue with some donors not being able to view cash or checks donations under their profile in the Donation History section. That's been resolved.
Pending and Failed Donations for Donors - Donors can now see pending or failed donations in their donor interface. This is especially useful for ACH donations that are still in transit.
CSV Files Exporting Correction - There was an issue in Batches when exporting CSV files. The file was exporting the last 30 days by default, rather than following the selected date range for that Batch. Fixed.
Something Went Wrong Notification - Although system errors are very rare, they can happen. We've improved the error messaging for online donors, letting them know they should not try to donate again if an unexpected error occurs on the donation form. This also gives donors the opportunity to check the new pending/failed status we've added, if there's a question whether the donation went through or not.
Giving Access by Default (Helpdesk) - In an effort to ensure customers get the best possible support in the most timely fashion, we now provide an "opt-out" to Giving access rather than an "opt-in" selection. It's a small change, but we wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Your privacy is incredibly important to us. However, in most cases if you've hit that (?) to get in touch with us, there's a real issue, it's potentially time sensitive, and we want to reduce both resolution times and emails back and forth between customers and agents requesting permission before entering the Giving account.
To be clear, this access isn't and has never been something we take lightly. We will only access your account if it will help in leading toward a viable solution.
